INOUE’S NEXT FIGHT IN VEGAS POSSIBLE AFTER ARUM TEASES PLANS

Furthermore, Inoue’s next fight in Vegas became possible after Arum teased his plans for his superstar ward.

Moreover, the 31-year-old may only use a few months of rest after a recent successful second defense of his undisputed bantamweight titles.

Arum hinted the Japanese might return to fight in the US next year.

On Tuesday, Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs) pulled off a seventh-round technical knockout (TKO) win over Irishman TJ Doheny.

“I understand he’ll (Inoue) be coming back here to Tokyo to defend his title again at the end of the year,” Arum said.

“Then we’re taking him to the United States for a big celebration in Las Vegas,” he added.

‘THE MONSTER’ OPEN ‘TO GO FORWARD’ TO FIGHT IN DECEMBER

Moreover, the Japanese champion, also known as “The Monster,” is open “to go forward” to fight in December.

Furthermore, Inoue cited having “no damage” after coming out victorious against Doheny (26-5, 20 KOs) compared to his previous fight.

“I’ve had definitely no damage. As I had my last fight of indigestion and incomplete combustion, I wish to go forward to my next (fight) in December,” the undisputed champion said.

Inoue’s Japanese promoter, Hideyuki Ohashi, acknowledged what’s next for “The Monster” at a press conference at Ohashi Gym in Yokohama on Wednesday.

IBF and WBO mandatory challenger Sam Goodman, who was supposed to fight Inoue after the Japanese’s May 6 victory over Luis Nery, looms as the champion’s next bout.

NAKATANI TOLD BY ‘THE MONSTER’ TO FIGHT BROTHER TAKUMA FIRST

Furthermore, WBO (World Boxing Organization) bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani was told by “The Monster” to fight his brother Takuma first.

Moreover, Inoue ruled out taking on Nakatani for his next fight.

“Before he (Nakatani) moves up to fight me, he will have to face my brother Takuma to conquer the 118-pound category,” Inoue said.

“That’s not easy because Takuma will be a very tough opposition and a thick wall for Nakatani,” he added.

Incidentally, Takuma is the current WBA (World Boxing Association) bantamweight king.

Meanwhile, Inoue’s promoters may consider either Goodman or WBA mandatory challenger Murodjon Akhamadaliev for the Japanese’s next fight.
