Twelve-time world champion in eight different divisions.

Manny Pacquiao had a stellar boxing resume that is befitting of a hall of fame.

Those best fights, regardless of the results, are too many to mention for this legendary fighter.

The Biggest wins

  • Chatchai Sasakul

Manny’s first world title shot came in enemy territory in 1998, and he escaped Thailand with Sasakul’s WBC flyweight belt. He then defended it twice before losing it at the scales before he fought Medgoen Singsurat.

  • Ledwaba

The sixth-round knockout for his second world title in 2001 had a lot of milestones in it apart from taking the fight in just two weeks’ notice in Vegas, which was his maiden fight in the United States.

This fight also began a longstanding relationship with trainer Freddie Roach, where his Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles became the second home of the Filipino boxers.

  • Barrera I

His first high-profile win was when he dropped the Baby-Faced Assassin at the Alamodome twice before scoring an 11th-round TKO in 2003.

This was the start of his “Mexicutioner” era, where he became the face of the boxing rivalry between the two nations.

  • Marquez II

The second fight of their four-part series sees Pacquiao getting the upper hand in 2008, almost four years since their controversial draw in their first encounter.

With the tight contest, a third-round knockdown of El Dinamita proved to be the most significant difference, as Pacman escaped Mandalay Bay with the split decision and the WBC Super featherweight belt.

  • Ricky Hatton

In 2009, Pacquiao scored the most explosive win of his career, which was his debut in the welterweight division where he fought there 17 more times before hanging up his gloves.

Pacquiao dominated the opening round with two knockdowns of the Hitman on a pair of right hooks, before firing in the left hook to finish him off before the end of round 2.

He was named Fighter of the Decade for the 2000s by the BWAA, WBC, WBO, and HBO, Manny Pacquiao has fought his way through some of the world’s greatest boxers. In almost every matchup, his sheer skill and prowess in the sport of boxing have allowed him to emerge victorious, Here are the Top 5 Thrilling Manny Pacquiao Victories!

Notable losses

  • Rustico Torrecampo – He was the man that dealt Pacquiao his first loss, as he knocked him out in the third round of their 1996 encounter in Mandaluyong.
  • Erik Morales – El Terrible dominated Pacquiao on the first encounter of their trilogy in 2005, en route to a unanimous decision win. It proved Morales’ last hurrah, as Pacman avenged it with a pair of knockout wins.
  • Marquez IV – The second and last knockout defeat of Pacquiao came in December of 2012. A perfect right hand ended their quadrilogy in the sixth round, capping off a payback from his two previous defeats.
  • Floyd Mayweather – It was one of the most-anticipated but turned out to be a bit disappointing, with the Pretty Boy winning it wire-to-wire in a clash of styles in their 2015 encounter, which Pacquiao fought with an injured shoulder from the fourth round onwards. Imagine if they fought in their prime.
